Matthew, I don't know who this Lipa (suck-shun) woman is, or what her "music" sounds like, but I can only thank you for expressing so succinctly and eloquently in your piece, what is evident in the visual art world too: The loss of both true culture and the worthwhile expression of universal truths, alongside the evaporation of discernment for talent and calibre.

We are certainly suffering what René Guénon called The Reign of Quantity.

The abandonment of quality as something to aspire to, the rise of the shameless ego and the worship of money.

A necessary part of the cycle of humanity perhaps? An indication of the imminent collapse of all that any sane person could regard as of value?

I wish you well,

Wiskey.
