Thank you Sourav. Yes, this is the right question, and we need to continue to ask it, without hope of an answer and without asking the question. Yes. We do have meaning. Do we ask the question about our meaning, in the right way though? Can we ask the question without our intellect/mind? The ordinary mind is not designed or equipped for this essential question, which is where modern science misses the mark, because modern science is not the correct "tool" with which to enquire into this particular mystery.

We must recognise that although modern thought imagines that the question has always been sought, but never been found, this is not the case. Our meaning, our place in the Cosmos has been understood and even relayed to people through the ages, but this is not something that can be written down and fully understood without the hard work that is necessary.

The quote from Sagan is more interesting I think than he perhaps realised himself. It holds more than a grain of truth.

It is good to hear the question being asked, and not dismissed as a nonsense.
